Ennis Baseball Association Mission:
Ennis Baseball Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that runs the youth baseball and softball leagues at Blue Bonnet Park in Ennis, TX. The weekend tournament profits help to fund our local rec teams for both spring and fall seasons. In 2023 we helped scholarshiped over 100 kids! We run all of our tournaments at Blue Bonnet Park. 

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION:

  • 6U - 8U Pay at Plate per umpire $45. Game time limit is 60 minutes drop dead in pool, 75 in Bracket.
  • 9U-12U Pay at Plate per umpire $55. Game time limit is 60 minutes drop dead in pool, 75 in Bracket.
  • 13U & UP Pay at Plate per umpire $60. Game time limit is 75 minutes drop dead  in pool, 90 in Bracket.
  • 3 GAME GUARANTEE, 2 POOL GAMES then SINGLE ELIMINATION. 
  • Pool play flip for home. Bracket play better high seed is home. 

In all age divisions will have a 10 run limit per inning in pool play only. Mercy Rule is 15 after 3, 10 after 4, and 8 after 5. For Kid Pitch Age Divisions we will have one balk warning before balks are enforced in Pool Play. In Bracket play there will be no warning. 

Awards: 

  • All 1st place and 2nd place teams will receive Championship and Finalist Game Rings.
  • All 1st place and 2nd place teams receive Championship and Finalist Banners

Team insurance:

We must receive your teams insurance policy by the Friday prior to the event. If you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured.

Minimum requirements: General Liability $1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate/$5,000 each participant. Teams that do not have NSC listed as additional insured, or that do not carry insurance will not be allowed to play at our events. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Refunds & Rainouts:

To withdraw from a tournament you must send an email to ennisbaseball@gmail.com and talk with Trevor or Austin.  To receive a refund or a credit towards another upcoming tournament withdrawal date is always the Sunday prior to event.  If you do not withdraw from a tournament prior to the withdraw date, there is a $75 administrative fee to re-work schedules and be withdrawn.

For rainouts we will contact teams admin and-or head coach via email immediately of any changes that weather changes cause. It is up to the City of Ennis field maintenance crews on site to determine if the fields are fit for play or not. We will always make every effort to ensure the teams get as much play time as possible.
