3 GG TEAM ENTRY FEE: 

All age groups: $175 entry fee + $100 PAP
Coaches must have cash ready to give umpires BEFORE the beginning of each game.  

Team Pay at Plate Fee:

8U Division: $100

9U-14UDivisions: $100

ALL TEAMS MUST BE REGISTERED, SUBMIT PAYMENT, UPDATE ONLINE PLAYER ROSTERS, AND UPLOAD TEAM INSURANCE:

  1. BE REGISTERED AND SANCTION THEIR TEAMS WITH NCS FOR THE CURRENT SEASON.

  2. UPLOAD AND SUBMIT A COPY OF TEAM INSURANCE.

  3. COMPLETE AND UPDATE ONLINE PLAYER ROSTERS
    Please Complete and Update Online Player Roster. All coaches are responsible for filling out an online player roster.  Rosters are available until Friday at 11:59 PM. Please submit your rosters as soon as possible. Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff are not eligible to play!


  4. Please Upload and Submit a Copy of Team Insurance Policy. If you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports, you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured. You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. All insurance needs to be uploaded online. We DO NOT accept insurance at the event.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

  • 3 Game Guarantee

  • Saturday: 2 Pool Games 

  • Sunday:  Single Elimination Bracket Games 

  • GOLD & SILVER Brackets on Divisions with 8+ Teams @ directors discretion




POOL &/OR BRACKET GAMES:

  • Finish the Inning, No Drop-Dead Time. 

  • GOLD & SILVER Brackets on Divisions with 8+ Teams.

  • All teams must be available and ready to play at any time from Friday at 5:00 pm to Sunday at 10:00 pm.  

  • All games must start at their scheduled times unless otherwise approved by one of the tournament directors.

  • Teams should be ready to play 15 minutes prior to game scheduled time.

  • Game Clock starts at the conclusion of the plate meeting. 

  • Games must go the complete time limit, unless 6-7 innings or run ruled.


RULES:
  • We play by the rules listed on the PlayNCS.com website.

  • Saturday 2 Pool Play into Sunday Single Elimination. 

  • No new inning is started after 5 minutes before game time.

  • Home team keeps official book.

  • Umpires have official time.

  • All players must be properly geared. Catcher wearing all protective gear. Pitcher no white sleeves, arm sleeve, jewelry or sweatbands.


PITCHING

  • We utilize outs instead of innings for pitching totals as per NCS Rules.

  • Maximum number of outs a player can legally pitch in one (1) day and still pitch the next day is 6 outs (2 innings)

  • Maximum innings allowed for the 2 day Tournament is 24 outs (8 innings) with no more than 18 outs (6 innings) in one day.

TIE GAMES

  • Pool Play: TIE stands.

  • Bracket and Championship Games:California Tie Breaker: Loaded bases with the last 3 batters and 1 out, batter’s count 0-0.

MERCY RULE RUNS:

  • 12 runs after 3 complete innings of play.

  • 10 runs after 4 complete innings of play.

  • 8 runs after 5 complete innings of play.


GAME BALLS PROVIDED:

  • We provide up to 3 NCS game balls per game.

  • We ask coaches to have their players and fans help retrieve the foul balls to keep the game going without any delays.

  • Once the NCS game balls are exhausted, lost or not returned, teams must provide their own game balls.

  • If foul balls don't come back, Coaches will need to start providing their own game balls to replace the 3 NCS game balls and to finish up the game. 

  • Coaches, please help us retrieve the foul balls to keep the game going without any delays.

  • FOUL BALLS retrieved can be taken to the concession stand for a FREE freeze pop.

  • POG Award For The Player Of the Game 7U-8U- Umpires will choose a player from each game that exhibits great sportsmanship and play.


FOOD & DRINKS:

  • Concession stands will be available- cash,venmo and cashapp accepted.

  • Coolers are permitted, however are subject to search at any time.  


PETS:

  • No pets allowed into venues. Licensed Service Animals are always welcome. Emotional support animals will not be permitted.




Schedule Requests:

SCHEDULE REQUESTS MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN THE SUNDAY PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT DATE.

Please submit all schedule requests using the Schedule Request tab on the event menu. 

The schedule request is a request, not a guarantee.

If the Schedule Request tab is not showing on the event menu, that means we have begun scheduling the event already. 

When do schedules post?

Typically we post schedules on the WEDNESDAY preceding the tournament weekend.


SPORTSMANSHIP 

Each Head Coach is responsible for the sportsmanship of his entire team, both players and parents and also his assistant coaches (and fans). Please always make sure to demonstrate GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP so that these young athletes see a good example presented to them. Please remember, only Head Coaches talk with the umpires regarding questions, etc. (The two Head Coaches and the two Umpires only, no assistant coaches.) Assistant coaches must refrain from this and allow the Head Coach and the Umpire to work through any issues that may arise. 


BEHAVIOR AT THE EVENTS:

  • NCS has a zero-tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior.

  • Any fan, parent, player &/or coach will be banned from the event for adverse behavior towards anyone in general.


CANCELATION OF EVENT:

  • In the event of rain/weather or any act of God canceling the entire tournament, teams will be issued a credit towards a future NCS West Texas Tournaments.

  • In the event of rain canceling a tournament already in progress, a team will receive partial credit based on the amount of games played.

    • -0- games started 100% credit

    • -1- the game started 50% credit

    • -2- games started 0% credit

  • In the event of a paid team canceling prior to tournament, the team will NOT receive a refund nor a credit.

  • In the event a paid tam cancels after the tournament schedule is released, the team will NOT receive a refund nor a credit
