SD-OC World Series Lodging Policy California
NCS works with a wide variety of lodging partners in our tournament locations to secure preferred lodging rates for all participants & to ensure sufficient rooms for all attending teams. Through our lodging program, all out of town teams book their rooms through NCS lodging partners & receive specially discounted rates at a variety of hotels. You can book your rooms online through the NCS website. All teams that call the hotel directly must book within the NCS block & submit team rooming list confirmation numbers prior to the NCS Baseball World Series.
Out of area teams, please remember that you must book with one of our parter hotels. If you cannot find a hotel suitable for you with one of our partner hotels give us a call.
Any reservations book through a third party provider (i.e. hotels.com, expedia.com, hotwire.com, etc.) or booked outside the NCS room block will not fulfill the requirement.
Local Teams:
All teams outside a 75 mile driving radius for the San Diego event & a 100 mile driving radius for the Orange County that choose to use alternative lodging arrangements, other than our partner hotels listed, may be subject to the lodging buyout fee ($750). The "Lodging Buyout" fee is non-refundable.
Alternative Lodging Arrangements:
If your team plans to make arrangements outside the NCS lodging programs (i.e., to stay at an RV Park, with nearby relatives, etc.) Please contact the event director. Because the lodging program has already been discounted from tournament fees, teams that book alternative lodging can use the "Lodging Buyout Option" ($750 per team). The "Lodging Buyout" fee is non-refundable.
Policies:
To be bracketed into the NCS World Series in San Diego & Orange County, your team must fit into one of the following three categories...
- Stay with a lodging partner listed on our hotels page. Book inside the group block. Minimum team requirement is 6 rooms 5 nights. Teams must submit a complete team rooming list with confirmation numbers, arrival dates & departure dates prior to the event.
- Register as a local team based within a 75 mile driving radius for the San Diego event & 100 mile driving radius for the Orange County event. Please remember if your team is within the listed mile radius of the World Series location, the hotel lodging policy does not apply to your team.
Please remember that if your team has a valid reason not to use our official world series hotels then please call, 951-538-2111, or email the National Director rick.melendrez@playncs.com as to how your team may possibly be able to attain a waiver.
Please note that the primary reason we have blocked large blocks of rooms for our world series is to provide a convenient source of hotels for your world series stay as some teams in past years have found it difficult to find enough affordable lodging for their world series stay on their own & in no way should our hotel lodging policy be looked upon as a burdensome requirement.
