This is a Pay at the Plate(PAP) event. Game will not start until both umpires are paid. 

8U Pool-$40 (55 minutes finish the batter.)

8U Bracket-$45 (65 minutes finish the inning.)

9U-18U Pool-$45 (60 minutes finish the batter.)

9U-18U Bracket-$50 (75 minutes finish the inning.)

Pool play will seed bracket.

Divisions may sell out prior to the payment deadline.  Payment guarantees a spot only up till the Monday of the event.  The number of available spots in a division may fluctuate depending on the needs of all divisions that share the same field size.

$12 per person 12 and up under the age of 12

3 coaches and all players get in free.

Rules 

We play exclusively by the rules listed on the www.playncs.com (http://www.playncs.com/) website.

NO METAL SPIKES, GUM OR SEEDS ON THE TURF COMPLEXES

Protests are $100. Win your protest and you will get your money back.

6 runs per half 8U-10U in pool and bracket 12U-HS Division 6 per half in pool and open in bracket, run rule is 12 after 2, 10 after 3 and 8 after 4

Bat 9, Use EH or DP/FLEX, Bat the lineup.

No bunting, slashing or slapping in 8U

pitcher must have one foot on rubber in 8U 

ITB is runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out 0-0 on batter

12U will have a 3 inning shoot out if the team goes undefeated through bracket play and loses in championship game. This is 12U only this weekend.

Awards 

All first-place teams will receive Championship Rings. 

All Finalist will receive Finalist Rings.

MVP Awards for Championship Games!

All Brackets will receive team Championship Banners.

Can we bring outside food and coolers?

When are our rosters locked and what do I do if a parents forgets/neglects to sign the waiver prior to the cutoff?

All rosters are locked on the Friday evening prior to the event at 11:59 pm.

Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff will not appear on the public view team’s page and

may cause a protest. Players on the roster that are not on the public view will still be eligible.

Behavior at the events

All Umpires and coaches make mistakes.  Please be tolerable of this.

Speakers and radios are allowed NO VULGAR MUSIC Please be respectful of the other teams that are participating. 

Zero tolerance for vulgar language.

Where will we play?

Hallsville Baseball association turf fields, Marshall Airport Park turf fields, Lear Park(dirt) and Nashville, Arkansas softball fields(dirt)

Be ready to play within a 45-mile radius as we have multiple other great complexes that we could use if the need arises.

  Refund / Credit Policy subject to change.
  All tournament entries are complete once the event fee and/or gate fee has been paid.

  Teams withdrawing from an event by the end of the day on the SUNDAY, prior to the start date of an event, will receive 100% credit.
   Teams withdrawing from an event after SUNDAY, but by 12pm on the MONDAY prior to an event, will receive 50% credit.
   Teams withdrawing from an event after 12pm on the MONDAY prior to an event, for any reason, are not eligible for a credit or refund.
   Teams in divisions that do not make will receive 100% credit. 
  Weather Cancellations:

  If an event is cancelled due to weather, teams will be eligible for the following credit:

  -0- games started 100% credit
  -1- game started 50% credit
  -2- games started 0% credit

  
  Refunds will be processed within 72 hours and issued to the original payment method. 

  You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

  Please do not submit multiple/duplicate requests. Submitting multiple requests will only delay the process.
   
  If requesting a credit to be transferred, you must register for the tournament in which you would like the credit transferred to PRIOR to submitting the Credit Request Transfer Form.

  You will receive an email confirmation once your credits have been transferred.

Do I need team insurance?

Yes, if you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured.

You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. You must upload your insurance to your team profile before the event and it turn green, if it doesn’t turn green you’ll be charge $20 at the gate to cover it.

UPDATES TO RULES FOR 2024 SEASON

    •    the pitcher's pivot foot could become airborne with one push from the pitcher's plate. However, pitchers would not be allowed to replant their pivot foot, resulting in pushing off from a second point and the pitcher being farther away from the pitcher's plate. (Located in Definitions) (9.4, 4) 

    •    With an in-game pitching change, the new pitcher must pitch to 3 batters or until the end of the inning/game, whichever comes first.  Injury to the pitcher, at the discretion of the umpire, may override this rule. (6.5, 2, d) 

    •    NCS will implement a $100 protest fee for fastpitch, at the discretion of the tournament director. (5.2) 

    •    All protests for an "illegal player" must be presented in real time and carry a $100 protest fee! 

    •    Illegal players will be ejected from the game, along with the head coach and will be issued a 7-0 forfeit.  The illegal player may not return to the event.  (Located in Definitions) (4.16 (h) (i) 

    ◦    6.5, 5 (Ineligible players), instead of illegal players have changed…… 

    ◦    6.6 Re-Entry 

    •    Ineligible players will be removed from the game and play continues. (Located in Definitions) Please study the ineligible player section of the rulebook, as we changed illegal in places to reflect "ineligible" and the penalties have been changed in places to "remove", rather than "eject" players.  NCS is placing a heavier weight on illegal players with ejection from event and 7-0 forfeit for the teams.

    •    Any tacky products may only be used by the offense.  No defensive player will be allowed to have a tacky substance in play.    (9.13, 1) 

    •    If in the umpire’s judgement the throw takes the fielder into contact with the runner, it is not considered obstruction and the play continues.  (8.10 Defensive Obstruction) 

    •    On DECK BATTER:  All on deck batters will occupy the circle behind the batter, regardless of dugout for safety. (Definitions) 

Rosters MUST be online no exceptions, players may appear on coaches’ side and not public view, all players will have a timestamp from when they were added to the roster.

Failure to have players listed online could cause your team to be protested, at which point all players not listed will become ineligible.
