TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
4 Game Guarantee (3 pool play games) all teams to a bracket
Gold/Silver/Bronze Brackets (with enough teams)
Friday: Pool Games
Saturday: Pool Games/Semi-Finals/Championships games
All teams must be ready and available to begin pool play Friday 8:00 am
GameChanger will be set up by the tournament
All teams must:

2. Please complete team NCS 2026 season sanction online.
3. Please Complete Player Roster online. Please add all your players to the online roster.
4. Please Buy or Submit a copy of your Team Insurance Policy. If you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured. You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. All insurance needs to be uploaded online. We are NOT accepting insurance at the event.

Reminder:
Team Line-Up Card
Must be turned in to Home Plate Umpire at or before Home Plate meeting before the beginning of each game. All players participating in the game must be entered on an official team line-up card to be eligible to participate in the game. Note: Any players arriving after start of game must be listed on the team line-up card that is turned in to the umpires prior to the start of the game to be eligible to play.
NCS BASEBALL PLAYING RULES:
NFHS rules will be followed with the following modifications

8u only rules
- Balk Rules do not apply.
- Lead Offs are not permitted.
- Stealing
Runners may steal after the ball reaches home plate. If runner leave early and is thrown out, the out remains. If a runner leaves early and makes it safely to the next base, the runner will still be called out.
- Home plate is closed. Runners from 3rd base may only advance on a hit ball or when forced-in by a walk.
- Dropped 3rd Strike
Batters may not advance to first on dropped 3rd strikes.
8u & 9u Run Rules Per Inning
6 run rule (Max Runs Scored Allowed Per Inning) will be in effect for innings 1 - 3. Once the 4th inning starts unlimited runs will be allowed. In effect for bracket and Championship game.
9u & UP
Lead off, Balks and drop 3rd are in effect. (9u teams will get 1 warning per game on Friday).
PITCHING RULES:
1. 105 pitch max per kid for the tournament. A max of 60 pitches per day (8U,9U) and max of 75 pitches per day for 10-12U. If 51 pitches in a day then the kid must have a 36 hour rest period.
2. A pitcher may finish a batter at the 105 mark, but must be removed after that. Pitchers must be removed at 60 or 75 (CAN NOT FINISH BATTER).
3. Failure to comply with this rule, will result in an ejection of the head coach for the remainder of the tournament. If a 2nd offence occurs the team will be removed from the tournament.
4. Each team will keep and be responsible for Scoring their Home Games on GameChanger to keep track of the Games Pitching
Game time: Every age division will play 1:40 no new inning. 8u-10u is time or 6 innings, 11u-14u is time or 7 innings.
Field Dimensions:
8u 40 foot mound, 60 foot bases
9u 46 foot mound, 60 foot bases (65 foot not available)
10u 46 foot mound, 70 foot bases (65 foot not available)
11-12u 50 foot mound, 70 foot bases
Mercy run rules
15 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings
TEAM WAIVERS, PLAYER ROSTERS & INSURANCE:
Online Rosters and Insurance must be uploaded online prior to event. NO ROSTER, NO INSURANCE, NO PLAY !!!
All coaches are responsible to fill out an online roster.
Players that are not on an online or paper roster are not eligible to play!
Please don’t forget to fill out a Player Roster.
PLAYER AGE ELIGIBILITY:
All Baseball Tournaments age divisions up to 18U will use the May 1 age cutoff date. To determine your team's age, determine your oldest player's age as of April 30th. Player participating in a given division cannot turn the next age before May 1st of the current season. Example: Player in 10U division cannot turn 11 before May 1st of the current season or he is too old for that division and must play in the 11U division. Players may play up (no more than two age divisions) but not down in age.
All Coaches must have proof of players age with them at all times incase of a protest

When do I pay the tournament entry fee?
All NCS Baseball tournaments are first pay/second play. Your entry into an event is not complete until you have paid the team entry fee. The division may sell out prior to the payment deadline. The number of available spots in a division may fluctuate depending on the needs of all divisions that share the same field size

Do we supply our own baseballs?
NCS provides 2 new baseballs and 1 used baseball to umpires for every game
When are our rosters locked and what do I do if a parents forgets/neglects to sign the waiver prior to the cutoff?
Online Rosters are available until 12 midnight the night before the tournament. Please submit your online rosters as soon as possible. We are trying to do away with the paper rosters and there will be a point when we won't take them anymore. Please help us with this matter. Players that are not on an online or paper roster are not eligible to play!

You may stop by the registration table to fill one out.

Behavior at the events
NCS has a zero tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Any fan, parent, player or coach will be ejected from the event for adverse behavior towards a tournament official or umpire.

Event Cancellation Policy:
In the event of an event being cancelled due to weather or any other unpreventable/unforeseen occurrence, teams will be issued a credit towards a future event. Schedules may be changed, games & events may be shortened in order to complete the event if possible. In the event of rain cancelling an event already in progress or if an event/division is completely canceled a team will receive credit based on the number of games played. To determine the credit owed to a team see criteria below:
1. No games started, a FULL CREDIT for a future event.
2. One game started, 1/2 CREDIT of entry fee.
3. Two games started, NO CREDIT will be issued.
Every effort will be made to complete an event already in progress if possible. All credits must be used with same director of the cancelled event and are not transferable to another area, region or director.
Team Cancellations / Credits Policy:
No refunds will be issued at anytime after payment. Event host will hold a credit for a future event. Teams cancelling or dropping out of any, irregardless of their reason to drop out, event must notify the event director via email in writing, not via phone or text message.
1, 2 & 3 Day Events: Notification prior to 14 days of the event date, a full credit for a future event will be given. If you notify 7 to 14 days before, 50 percent of your fee will be credited for a future event. If you notify us fewer than 7 days before the event, no credit will be given.
World Series Events: Entry fees, deposits & lodging buyouts are non-refundable at any time for any reason & will be forfeited should a team drop out from a World Series event. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions.
Notice of team that wants to drop out of an event they have entered must be given by the team manager or the business manager of team. If a team drops out of an event, past the cancellation deadline, team will forfeit in full their team entry fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Note: Credits are at the sole discretion of the director and are awarded normally under only the most severe circumstances on a team to team basis. In the event that a team is given a future team credit that credit must be used by same team (no exceptions) **Any and all entry fee credits must be used within the same current season (which they are granted) or within 180 (6 months) calendar days, which ever comes first, otherwise the credit becomes void. Credits must also be used by the same team (non-transferable) and with the same event director that you were originally scheduled to play with.
*Credit Card Processing fees are not refundable as we do not receive them when you submit payment with a credit card.
