Sunday Brackets Canceled

Due to weather started at 6:30am at the complex and projected forecast, Bracket Sunday is canceled. Awards will be made based on pool play results.


WHO WE ARE:

Tri-Cities Baseball Softball Association (TCBSA) has been committed to providing baseball and softball opportunities to the youth of the area for over fifty years.  Our goals is to provide high quality opportunities for players and families of all levels of play (recreational play through majors).


TEAM EVENT REGISTRATION FEE:

Tournament fee: 9U – 12U / $375.00

Team gate fee: $100

Fan gate fee: during this event, no gate fee planned for fans and spectators.


When do I pay the fee?

TCBSA tournaments are first pay/first play.  Entry into an event is not complete until you have paid the entry fee and/or the gate fee.  Divisions may sell out prior to the payment deadline and available teams spots in a division may fluctuate.  If you choose to mail a check to avoid online credit card fees please call or email us to let us know.  Mail to: Tri-Cities Baseball Softball, PO Box 274, Hurst, Texas 76053.


Who provides the game balls?

Coaches should be prepared with at least 2 game balls per game.


RULESET:

TCBSA events are played by the rules listed on the playNCS.com website.

Pitching - outs will be used instead of innings for pitching totals.

We do not allow metal cleats on any turf fields or temporary mounds.

All Gold Bracket Champions and Finalist will receive NCS Championship Rings

All Silver Bracket (if applicable) Champions and Finalist will receive NCS Medals or Rings

All Brackets receive team Championship Banners


How do I submit a schedule request?

Please submit all schedule request using the schedule request tab on the event menu.  We will take schedule request until the Monday evening prior to the event.  You can block out a 4 hour block on Friday or Saturday that you cannot play only.  We will do our best to accommodate requests.  Teams should be prepared to play from Friday evening until Sunday evening.


Can we bring outside food and coolers?

Yes, participants and fans are allowed to bring outside food and coolers excluding alcohol.


Can we bring our pets or comfort animals to the tournament?

No.  The city ordinances do not allow pets to be on the premises.  You will be asked to leave the premises if you bring pets to a TCBSA event.


When are our rosters locked and what do I do if a parents forgets/neglects to sign the waiver prior to the cutoff?

All rosters are locked on the Thursday evening prior to the event.  All players must be listed on the public view teams page by the cutoff.  Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff are not eligible to play.


BEHAVIOR AT THE EVENTS

TCBSA has a zero tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior.  Any fan, parent, player, or coach will be ejected from the event for adverse behavior towards a tournament official or umpire.

TCBSA utilizes full turf, half turf, grass and skinned fields in and around the listed locations


Do I need team insurance?

Yes, if you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured.  We must receive your team insurance by the Thursday prior to the event via email to tournaments@tcbasesoft.com.

PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY

TCBSA Information

It is the intent of TCBSA to play each tournament to its final conclusion. We may modify the tournament in order to reach a conclusion. Modification may include, but not limited to, reducing the total number of games, an alternate seeding method if pool play did not finish, reduce time limits, playing a partial bracket and awarding final placing from the highest seeds remaining, etc.

However, due to circumstance beyond our control, either man-made or act of God, a tournament may have to be shortened, postponed, or cancelled.

Before any tournament is officially cancelled every opportunity will be made to reschedule or resume play at the first opportunity, as dictated by management, local government and local league play and/or sanctioning body. We will post all tournament updates on our website, including any cancellation or modifications.

In the event a tournament must be cancelled or rescheduled and a team cannot attend, we will follow the refund policy of the sanctioning body unless otherwise stated in the tournament rules.

In the event a tournament is rescheduled and your team cannot participate, please notify us as soon as possible to request the appropriate refund. Any team withdrawing from a tournament will not be eligible for any rewards such as tournament berths, trophies, etc.


Team Withdrawal Information - Payment, Credits, & Refunds

Online Payment Fee
When paying with a credit card or debit card there will be a 4% processing fee. This fee is not refundable and not able to be applied as a credit.
The processing fee is a convenience fee paid to the credit card processor. You can mail, or drop off a check to avoid this fee. Please call the office when you mail your check and we will confirm your entry, do not leave a voicemail or email this information. You must contact a director directly.


Credits

Teams withdrawing from an event 7 days prior to the start date of an event will receive a 100% credit.

Teams withdrawing 6 or less days prior to an event for any reason will receive a 50% credit.

Paid teams in divisions that do not make will receive a 100% credit.

There is no admin fee to transfer credit to another TCBSA hosted event.

If an event is cancelled due to weather, teams will be eligible for the following credit.

  • 0 - games started 100% credit
  • 1 - game started 50% credit
  • 2 - games started 0% credit



Refunds 
All credit transfers and refunds must be initiated by the customer by completing emailing tournaments@tcbasesoft.com with the request.  
All refunds will have a $25 admin fee applied.

No credit/refund will be issued for any team that withdraws from the tournament after the Monday preceding the tournament, unless the division did not make.

No credit/refund will be issued for any team WE have to withdraw due to MISCLASSIFICATION. It is the sole responsibility of the coach and or manager to notify TCBSA of any classification change.

We understand from time-to-time, NCS may reclassify a team after the drop date; however, it is the coach’s responsibility to notify TCBSA of the reclassification. If your team is reclassified and you notify us prior to the event, we will work with you to refund or transfer your registration fee(s). However, if we are NOT notified by the team and find out through other means, no refund will be issued.

Partial refunds may take up to 2 weeks to process if the tournament was paid by team check or e-check as they have to be deposited and clear before any refund will be honored.

All credit card refunds will be returned to the original card.
