We are committed to promoting the game of baseball. Our goal is to elevate the players and the experience through championship-level events. We provide high-quality venues and professionally managed tournaments where teams compete against top amateur baseball clubs from across the nation.

Below is most of the information you will need and answers to the most common questions we receive.

All teams must register with NCS for the 2026 season.

Team Event Registration Fee:

7U–14U: $150 + PAP

PAP:

• 8U & Under – $50 per umpire, per game

• 9U & Up – $60 per umpire, per game

Gate Fee

$10.00 per person (ages 12 and up)

Tournament Entry Fee Payment

Tournament entry fees must be paid before your first game.

Refund Policy

Situation Credit Amount

Team withdraws 7 days prior to event 100% credit

Team withdraws 6 days or less prior to event 100% credit (transfer to another Legends event)

Paid teams in divisions that do not make 100% credit

Weather or Act of God cancellation See below

Weather / Act of God Credits:

 • 0 games started – 100% credit

 • 1 game started – 50% credit

 • 2 games started – 25% credit

 • 3 games started – 0% credit

Baseballs

Each team must provide two good leather baseballs per game.

Additional notes:

 • All 13U events are 54/80 unless otherwise noted.

 • No metal cleats are allowed on turf fields or temporary mounds.

Game Time Limits

 • 7U–8U: 1:15

 • 9U–14U: 1:30

Awards

 • Gold Bracket Champions & Finalists: NCS Championship Rings + Custom Hats from Scoreboard TXK

 • Silver Bracket Champions & Finalists: NCS Medals or Rings

 • MVP Awards presented to one player per team in the Championship Game

Requests accepted until Monday evening prior to the event.

Cooler Policy

 • Outside food and drinks are NOT allowed

 • Full concession stand available (credit/debit accepted)

 • No alcohol (per city ordinance)

Pets

No pets allowed, except service animals.

Roster Lock

Rosters lock on Friday evening prior to the event.

Bat Weight Limitations

Applies to all wood and non-wood bats stamped with:

BBCOR .50, USSSA 1.15 BPF, USA Baseball

Age Division Bat Restrictions

4U–12U No weight restriction

13U D3 No lighter than -8

13U Open No lighter than -5

14U–18U BBCOR -3 only

Behavior

Legends Baseball enforces a zero-tolerance policy against adverse or disrespectful behavior toward tournament officials or umpires. Fans, parents, players, or coaches may be ejected for violations.

Complex Information

We are a 100% turf facility.

Venue Restrictions:

 • No metal cleats or spikes on turf or portable mounds

 • No food or drinks on turf fields, dugouts, or mounds

 • No seeds, nuts, or gum of any kind allowed into Swanger Complex

Home / Visitor Determination

 • Pool Play: Coin flip

 • Bracket Play: Higher seed chooses Home or Visitor (including Championship Game)

Tie Games

 • Pool Play: Game ends in a tie

 • Bracket & Championship: Loaded bases, last 3 batters on base, 1 out, batter starts 0-0 count

Team Insurance

Insurance is required.

Teams not insured through NCS must add NCS as additionally insured (free through your insurance provider).

Insurance must be received by Friday prior to the event.
