** Players will be assigned to a team randomly and so will coaches **

** Only way to enter this tournament is to fill out the form that coaches sent out or that you fill out online, pay the $75 to the Venmo account, and then your player will be assigned to a team **

GENERAL ADMISSION:

  • DAILY PASS:  $10.00
  • 3 Coaches per Team and Uniformed Players enter for free, 11 and under free.


TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

  • 3 Game OR 4 Game Guarantee (depending on number of teams)
  • Saturday: 2 Pool Games & HR Derby, Nolan Ryan Fastest Pitch Challenge, & Exit Velo Challenge
  • Sunday:  Potential 3rd Pool Play Game / Single Elimination Bracket Games


POOL OR BRACKET GAMES:

  • Saturday 7u & 8u 65 mins / 9u-14u 85 mins, Finish the Inning
  • Sunday 7u & 8u 70 mins / 9u-14u 90 mins, Finish the Inning
  • All teams must be available and ready to play at any time from Saturday at 8:00am to Sunday at 10:00 pm.
  • All games must start at their scheduled times unless otherwise approved by one of the tournament directors.
  • Teams should be ready to play 15 minutes prior to game scheduled time.
  • Game Clock starts at the conclusion of the plate meeting. 
  • No 5-minute grace period to end the game early.
  • Games must go the complete time limit, unless 5-6 innings or run ruled.


PRIZES & AWARDS:

  • Division Champions: 12 Champions Rings 
  • Division Finalist: 12 Finalist Rings 
  • A Belt for the winning team of each Age Division


VENUE RESTRICTIONS:

  • No Metal Cleats or Metal Spikes are allowed on portable pitching mounds and/or any turf surfaces.
  • No Food &/or Drinks of any kind are allowed on any turf playing field, turf playing dugouts, and turf portable pitching mounds
  • NO SEEDS OR NUTS OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED INTO THE I-20 SPORTS COMPLEX


ALL PLAYERS MUST SUBMIT PAYMENT BY JULY 13th IN ORDER TO BE PLACED ON A TEAM:

  • In order to get jerseys in for all the players in time, the payment must be submitted by July 13th for anyone wishing to play.  That's right all boys will get a POTG jersey for them to keep as part of the entry to play!!


NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED:

  • No metal cleats in teams 12u and under.
  • No metal cleats on portable turf mounds.
  • No metal cleats on any turf fields &/or surfaces.


OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD:

  • An OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD must be filled out and turned into Home Plate Umpire at or before Home Plate meeting before the beginning of each game. 
  • All players participating in the game must be entered on the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD to be eligible to participate in the game. 
  • Any player arriving after the start of a game must be listed on the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD that was turned in to the umpires prior to the start of the game. 
  • Late players may be added to the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD at any time during the course of the game. However, they must be added before they are eligible to play.
  • All players on OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD must be active online to be eligible to play.
  • BATTING:  The player will be called out and must be added to The Official Line-Up/ScoreCard as a substitute.
  • DEFENSE: No penalty and must be added to The Official Line-Up/ScoreCard as a substitute.
  • **ALL PLAYERS MUST PLAY** This is an event for the ones that have done good all year and earned a chance to be here, they all are in the batting line up and have to play at least half the innings in the field (unless injury or illness trumps that).


TIE GAMES:

  • Pool Play: TIE stands.
  • Bracket Play & Championship Games:  Loaded bases with the last 3 batters and 1 out, batter’s count 0-0.


MERCY RUN RULES IN ALL DIVISIONS:

  • 15 runs after 2 complete innings of play.
  • 12 runs after 3 complete innings of play.
  • 10 runs after 4 complete innings of play.
  • 8 runs after 5 complete innings of play.


BAT WEIGHT LIMITATIONS:

  • All Wood and/or Non-Wood Bats stamped with any of the following:
    (BBCOR .50), (USSSA 1.15 BPF), (USA Baseball).
  • 4u-12u: No weight restrictions
  • 13u D3: No bats lighter than -8
  • 13u Open: No bats lighter than -5
  • 14u-18u: No bats lighter than -3 max (BBCOR ONLY)


HOME TEAM:

  • Coin Flip in all Pool Play games.
  • Single Elimination Bracket Play Games
  • High Seed chooses (Home/Visitor) in all Single Elimination Bracket Play Games INCLUDING the Championship Game.
