Coppell / Flower Mound - ALL STAR TOURNAMENT Hosted by KC&BO

Jun 11-13, 2021

THE COPPELL / FLOWER MOUND ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT

WEATHER UPDATES:

6/12: 9:37 AM: Coaches/Team Managers, I’ve had multiple emails on this and have tried to answer everyone so far.
THE QUESTION IS – DO WE ASSUME ALL GAMES ARE ONE-HOUR BEHIND?
THE ANSWER IS – NO, DO NOT ASSUME THAT. We have built in 30-minutes between games on as many fields as possible today (for a variety of reasons, this being one). We will work with our UMPIRES to compress that 30-minute WINDOW as much as possible to get back on schedule. This is critically Important at Jake’s Hilltop Park as there are no lights up there. COACHES, please be prepared to start your games early if needed to help us get back on schedule. I would like BOTH COACHES and the UMPIRES to AGREE on the time to start early. I realize this is NOT a perfect day, sometimes God gives us little obstacles to work through. Let’s ALL do our best to Keep Calm and Baseball On and get these boys playing baseball today, all day, and get all pool play games finished this evening. I cannot have the schedules re-written at this time to reflect the delay from this morning, so let’s just flow with it and make it a GREAT DAY of YOUTH BASEBALL!!!

6/12, 8:45 AM: ALL CLEAR, PLAY BALL, GAMES SHOULD START AT 9:00 AM, LET'S GO, LET's ROLL!!!

8:20 AM UPDATE: We are still in a lightning delay, with heavy lightning still actively in the area. ALL FIELDS, ALL COMPLEXES remain in a lighting delay.
First Games are NOW pushed until 9:00 AM.  No games will start before 9:00 AM! Folks should remain on HIGH ALERT and in their vehicles until the ALL CLEAR SOUNDS, or we give an ALL CLEAR COMMUNICATION. Thank You and THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

6/12, 7:53 AM: WE ARE STILL IN LIGHTING DELAYS AT ALL BALLFIELDS. Fortunately the fields are ALL playable at this time. We JUST HAVE TO WAIT OUT THE LIGHTNING so we can safely take the fields.

NO GAMES WILL START BEFORE 8:30 AM. WE HAVE OFFICIALLY PUSHED BACK THE FIRST GAME TIMES BY 30-MINTUES. This does NOT mean other games will be delayed, but it does mean the first games of the day will NOT START before 8:30 AM.

6/12, 7:30 AM: Coaches/Team Managers, AS OF NOW, WE ARE IN LIGHTING DELAYS AT ALL BALLFIELDS, BUT ALL FIELDS APPEAR PLAYABLE. OUR PLAN IS TO START AS SCHEDULED, OR AS SOON AS THE LIGHTNING DELAY LIFTS. Coaches – plan to play as scheduled, and also be prepared to wait out the lighting delay. It’s not a perfect start to the day, but it’s a part of weekend tournament baseball and we all just have to do the best we can to stay on schedule as we have a FULL TWO DAYS of baseball ahead! WE WILL COMMUNICATE AGAIN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, but again the plan is to start ON-TIME if the Lighting Delay is Cleared. OR, to start as soon as possible AFTER the Lighting Delay Clears. Keep Calm & Baseball On!

6/12, 6:45 AM: WE ARE IN A LIGHTNING DELAY WITH RAIN. If at a ballfield stay in the safety of your call and await further updates from your coaches. We will post updates here as well as will be emailing the coaches.

Gate Fee

There is NO GATE FEE for the ALL-STAR Tournament!

When do I pay the tournament entry fee?
All KC&BO tournaments are first pay/first play. Your entry into an event is not complete until you have paid the entry fee or the gate fee. Your age/division may sell out prior to the payment deadline, in fact they usually do. The number of available spots in a division may fluctuate depending on the needs of all divisions that share the same field size. KC&BO does not accept checks. If you need to pay by cash, the deadlines still apply and you will need to make arrangements with us to drop off a cash payment. Our Entry/Gate fees are due on the Friday, one week prior to the tournament dates, at a minimum, however our events typically sellout, so don't delay, pay early to secure your spot (our goal is to schedule over that weekend and post schedules on Monday). SEE TOURNAMENT PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY BELOW.

Do we supply our own baseballs?
Yes, teams supply their own baseballs for game play.
