Team Event Registration Fee
6U - 14U: $350
Gate Fee
There is a $25 fee per Rostered Player, due at Coach/Team Check-In on Thursday May 26th, 2022 (Cash only, no credit cards, thank you!)
When do I pay the tournament entry fee?
All KC&BO tournaments are first pay/first play. Your entry into an event is not complete until you have paid the entry fee or the gate fee. Your age/division may sell out prior to the payment deadline, in fact they usually do. The number of available spots in a division may fluctuate depending on the needs of all divisions that share the same field size. KC&BO does not accept checks. If you need to pay by cash, the deadlines still apply and you will need to make arrangements with us to drop off a cash payment. Our Entry/Gate fees are due on the Friday, one week prior to the tournament dates, at a minimum, however our events typically sellout, so don't delay, pay early to secure your spot (our goal is to schedule over that weekend and post schedules on Monday). SEE TOURNAMENT PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY BELOW.
Do teams supply our own baseballs?
Yes, teams supply their own baseballs for game play.
Rules
PLEASE NOTE: REC World Series SPECIFIC RULES were POSTED (see link above).
We play by the rules linked above with these noted exceptions:
Pitching: There are no enforceable pitching limitations for this weekend tournament. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND PARENTS & COACHES ABIDE BY THE USA BASEBALL/MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL "Pitch Smart" GUIDELINES. (We do NOT know the number of pitches thrown during the week, during league play, during private lessons, leading up to tournament play, etc. and do not feel we can effectively manage the safety of any child's arm.) We believe that responsibility belongs with the PARENTS & COACHES who know the players pitch count leading up to, during, and after tournament play. PARENTS & COACHES, please do not overuse young arms. The WIN today is not worth it in the long run!
NCS Rule Change (This is a very NEW change from NCS regarding Mound Visits):
Rule 7.03
Pitching mound visits will remain 2 per inning, with a second visit to the same pitcher in the same inning resulting in a pitching change.
We allow -5 bats in 14U Recreational play.
We play all 13/14U Recreational events at 54/80 unless otherwise noted.
We do not allow metal cleats on any turf fields or temporary mounds, or in the batting cages or soft toss stations. Strictly enforced. Fines may apply for damage done.
Game time limits:
All 6u games are 1hr
All 7u-8u games are 1hr 15min
All 9u-12u games are 1hr 30min
All 13u-14u games are 1hr 45min
*Tournament Director may adjust/shorten game times if needed

Please do NOT bring any aggressive pets to the ballfields.)If playing at other Facilities, City Laws/Ordinances may prohibit pets. Pet owners are responsible to know and abide by City Laws/Ordinances.
When are our rosters locked and what do I do if a parents forgets/neglects to sign the waiver prior to the cutoff?
All rosters are locked on the Thursday evening prior to the event. All players must be listed on the public view teams page by the cutoff. Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff are not eligible to play!
BEHAVIOR AT EVENTS
KC&BO has a Zero Tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Any fan, parent, player or coach will be ejected from the event for such behavior towards a tournament official, or umpire or towards another team or within teams. Anyone ejected must immediately leave the facility & is ejected for the full tournament. There is no ejected today, come back tomorrow. Behave and it's not a problem. Furthermore, depending on the severity of the behavior the ejected person may be subject to a permanent ban. Good Sportsmanship is critical, and is especially needed in today's youth sports environment. Remember these are GAMES played by CHILDREN. KEEP CALM & BASEBALL ON!
SPORTSMANSHIP
Each Head Coach is responsible for the sportsmanship of his entire team, both players and parents and also his assistant coaches (and fans). Please always make sure to demonstrate GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP so that these young athletes see a good example presented to them.
INTERACTION BETWEEN COACHES AND UMPIRES
Please remember, only Head Coaches interact with the umpires regarding questions, appeals, rules challenges, etc. (The two Head Coaches and the two Umpires only, no assistant coaches.) Assistant coaches must refrain from this and allow the Head Coach and the Umpire to work through any issues that may arise. KEEP CALM & BASEBALL ON!
Where will we play?

Flower Mound = Glenwick Park (6U Division)
