When do I pay the Tournament Entry Fee?
The REC tournament is a first pay/first play. Your entry into an event is not complete until you have paid the entry fee. Your age/division may sell out prior to the payment deadline, in fact they usually do. The number of available spots in a division may fluctuate depending on the needs of all divisions that share the same field size. HVABSA does not accept checks. If you need to pay by cash, the deadlines still apply and you will need to make arrangements with us to drop off a cash payment. Please Note: our events typically sellout EARLY, so don't delay, pay early to secure your spot (our goal is to schedule over that weekend and post schedules on Monday/Tuesday). SEE TOURNAMENT PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY BELOW.

Teams must be prepared to play from Friday evening until Sunday evening, we will do our best to accommodate request.

If playing at other Facilities, City Laws/Ordinances may prohibit pets. Pet owners are responsible to know and abide by City Laws/Ordinances.
When are our rosters locked and what do I do if a parent forgets/neglects to sign the waiver prior to the cutoff?
All rosters are locked on the Thursday evening prior to the event, when the events starts on Friday, and on Friday evening when the events starts on Saturday. All players must be listed on the public view teams page by the cutoff. Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff are not eligible to play!
BEHAVIOR AT EVENTS
HVABSA, CAB and TC have a Zero Tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Any fan, parent, player or coach will be ejected from the event for such behavior towards a tournament official, or umpire or towards another team or within teams. Anyone ejected must immediately leave the facility & is ejected for the full tournament. There is no ejected today, come back tomorrow. Behave and it's not a problem. Furthermore, depending on the severity of the behavior the ejected person may be subject to a permanent ban. Good Sportsmanship is critical, and is especially needed in today's youth sports environment. Remember these are GAMES played by CHILDREN. PLEASE BE YOUR PLAYERS BIGGEST FAN!
SPORTSMANSHIP
Each Head Coach is responsible for the sportsmanship of his entire team, both players and parents and also his assistant coaches (and fans). Please always make sure to demonstrate GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP so that these young athletes see a good example presented to them.
INTERACTION BETWEEN COACHES AND UMPIRES
Please remember, only Head Coaches interact with the umpires regarding questions, appeals, rules challenges, etc. (The two Head Coaches and the two Umpires only, no assistant coaches.) Assistant coaches must refrain from this and allow the Head Coach and the Umpire to work through any issues that may arise. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL to the Umpires and game officials! The Umpires deserve respect. It is NOT easy to be an Umpire out there. They do they best to make the right calls and get everything right. Will there be mistakes, possibly, but as in life we all make mistakes. The Umpires are not professionals, but do this for the love of the game of Baseball and for our youth and this great game. We ask again: PLEASE BE YOUR PLAYERS BIGGEST FAN!
Where will we play? ALL PARKS WILL BE LISTED HERE, but all games will be played in Highland Village, Corinth and Trophy Club, TX.
