Pin Trading Info
We will do pin trading during skills contest and pool games on Thursday evening.
It will be a come and go format where you will be allowed to drop five pins off and select five pens, etc.. You may also interact with other teams and swap that way.
Moms HR Derby Info
3 Mom's for each team will hit 10 baseballs (provide your own pitcher and balls). (Additional mom's can hit for $20) Home runs will be balls that travel approximately 150' in the air.
Outs will be foul balls, swings and misses or balls that travel less than 150' in the air.
Batters are allowed 3 non swings. Bats can be any baseball or softball bat that is stamped by any of the following:
USA Softball, USSSA, or USA Baseball.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
- Skills Contest on Thursday starting at noon.
- Pool Play Thursday Evening, Friday & Saturday
- Bracket Play Saturday & Sunday
POOL OR BRACKET GAMES:
- All teams must be available and ready to play at any time from Friday 8am to Sunday at 10:00 pm.
- All games must start at their scheduled times unless otherwise approved by one of the tournament directors.
- Teams should be ready to play 15 minutes prior to game scheduled time.
- Game Clock starts at the conclusion of the plate meeting.
- No 5-minute grace period to end the game early.
- Games must go the complete time limit, unless 6-7 innings or run ruled.
PRIZES & AWARDS:
- GOLD Division Champions: 12 Pine Tar Championship Rings
- SILVER Division Finalist: 12 Pine Tar Silver Rings
- MVP Awards for the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament for each team in the championship game
VENUE RESTRICTIONS:
- No Metal Cleats or Metal Spikes are allowed on portable pitching mounds and/or any turf surfaces.
- No Food &/or Drinks of any kind are allowed on any turf playing field, turf playing dugouts, and turf portable pitching mounds

Rosters are available until Friday at 11:59 PM. Please submit your rosters as soon as possible. Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff are not eligible to play!
- Please Upload and Submit a Copy of Team Insurance Policy. If you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports, you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured. You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. All insurance needs to be uploaded online. We are NOT accepting insurance at the event.

CANCELATION OF EVENT:
- In the event of rain/weather or any act of God canceling the entire tournament, teams will be issued a credit towards a future Pine Tar Event.
- In the event of rain canceling a tournament already in progress, a team may receive partial credit based on the amount of games played. 1 Game played = 1/2 Credit, 2 Games played or started = NO REFUND.
- In the event of a paid team canceling prior to tournament, the team will receive credit towards the future Pine Tar Event if the cancellation occurs before Monday at noon two weeks prior to the event. 50% credit if the cancellation occurs before Monday at noon the week of the event. No credit if after Tuesday at noon.
- In the event of a paid team canceling prior to tournament, the team will receive credit towards the future Pine Tar Event.
- All deposits and payments are final. No Refunds, Only Credit for a future Pine Tar Event.
NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED:
- No metal cleats in teams 12u and under.
- No metal cleats on portable turf mounds.
- No metal cleats on any turf fields &/or surfaces.
OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD:
- An OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD must be filled out and turned into Home Plate Umpire at or before Home Plate meeting before the beginning of each game.
- All players participating in the game must be entered on the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD to be eligible to participate in the game.
- Any player arriving after the start of a game must be listed on the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD that was turned in to the umpires prior to the start of the game.
- Late players may be added to the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD at any time during the course of the game. However, they must be added before they are eligible to play.
- All players on OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD must be active online to be eligible to play.
- BATTING: The player will be called out and must be added to The Official Line-Up/ScoreCard as a substitute.
- DEFENSE: No penalty and must be added to The Official Line-Up/ScoreCard as a substitute.
TIE GAMES:
- Pool Play: TIE stands.
- Bracket Play & Championship Games: Runner on 2nd one out.
MERCY RUN RULES IN ALL DIVISIONS:
- 15 runs after 3 complete innings of play.
- 10 runs after 4 complete innings of play.
- 8 runs after 5 complete innings of play.
BAT WEIGHT LIMITATIONS:
- All Wood and/or
Non-Wood Bats stamped with any of the following:
(BBCOR .50), (USSSA 1.15 BPF), (USA Baseball). - 4u-12u: (No weight restrictions)
- 13u: (No bats lighter than -5 max)
- 14u-18u: (No bats lighter than -3 max/BBCOR ONLY)
HOME TEAM:
- Coin Flip in all Pool Play games.
- Single Elimination Bracket Play Games:
- High Seed chooses (Home/Visitor) in all Single Elimination Bracket Play Games INCLUDING the Championship Game.
- Double Elimination Bracket Play Games:
- High Seed chooses (Home/Visitor) in all Double Elimination Bracket Play games EXCEPT the Championship Game.
- The undefeated team chooses (Home/Visitor) in the Championship Game. No "IF" game in Double Elimination Bracket.
