- BE REGISTERED AND SANCTION THEIR TEAMS WITH NCS FOR THE CURRENT 2023-2034 SEASON.
- UPLOAD AND SUBMIT A COPY OF TEAM INSURANCE OR PAY $20 at CheckIN.
- COMPLETE AND UPDATED ONLINE PLAYER ROSTERS
- SUBMIT ENTRY FEE PAYMENT BY THE MONDAY BEFORE TOURNAMENT DATE.

GENERAL ADMISSION:
- DAILY PASS: $10.00
- 3 Coaches per Team and Uniformed Players enter for free, 12 and under free.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
- 3-4 Game Guarantee
- Saturday: 2 Pool Games
- Sunday:
Single/Double Elimination Bracket Games
POOL OR BRACKET GAMES:
- Saturday 8u 55 mins, 9u-14u 85 mins, Finish the Inning
Sunday 8u 65 mins, 9u-14u 90 mins, Finish the Inning
- All teams must be available and ready to play at any time from Saturday at 8:00am to Sunday at 10:00 pm.
- All games must start at their scheduled times unless otherwise approved by one of the tournament directors.
- Teams should be ready to play 15 minutes prior to game scheduled time.
- Game Clock starts at the conclusion of the plate meeting.
- No 5-minute grace period to end the game early.
- Games must go the complete time limit, unless 6-7 innings or run ruled.

- MVP Awards for the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament for each team in the championship game
VENUE RESTRICTIONS:
- No Metal Cleats or Metal Spikes are allowed on portable pitching mounds and/or any turf surfaces.
- No Food &/or Drinks of any kind are allowed on any turf playing field, turf playing dugouts, and turf portable pitching mounds
ALL TEAMS MUST SUBMIT PAYMENT, UPDATE ONLINE PLAYER ROSTERS, AND UPLOAD TEAM INSURANCE:
- Submit Entry Fee Payment in Full by No Later than Monday prior to the event date. All NCS Events are Pay First/Play First.

- Please Upload and Submit a Copy of Team Insurance Policy. If you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports, you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured. You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. All insurance needs to be uploaded online. We are NOT accepting insurance at the event.

CANCELATION OF EVENT:
- In the event of rain/weather or any act of God canceling the entire tournament, teams will be issued a credit towards a future Pine Tar Event.
- In the event of rain canceling a tournament already in progress, a team may receive partial credit based on the amount of games played. 1 Game played = 1/2 Credit, 2 Games played or started = NO REFUND.
- In the event of a paid team canceling prior to tournament, the team will receive credit towards the future Pine Tar Event if the cancellation occurs before Monday at noon the week of the event. 50% credit if the cancellation occurs before Tuesday at noon the week of the event. No credit if after Tuesday at noon.
- All deposits and payments are final. No Refunds, Only Credit for a future Pine Tar Event.
NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED:
- No metal cleats in teams 12u and under.
- No metal cleats on portable turf mounds.
- No metal cleats on any turf fields &/or surfaces.
OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD:
- An OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD must be filled out and turned into Home Plate Umpire at or before Home Plate meeting before the beginning of each game.
- All players participating in the game must be entered on the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD to be eligible to participate in the game.
- Any player arriving after the start of a game must be listed on the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD that was turned in to the umpires prior to the start of the game.
- Late players may be added to the OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD at any time during the course of the game. However, they must be added before they are eligible to play.
- All players on OFFICIAL LINE-UP/SCORECARD must be active online to be eligible to play.
- BATTING: The player will be called out and must be added to The Official Line-Up/ScoreCard as a substitute.
- DEFENSE: No penalty and must be added to The Official Line-Up/ScoreCard as a substitute.
TIE GAMES:
- Pool Play: TIE stands.
- Bracket Play & Championship Games: Loaded bases with the last 3 batters and 1 out, batter’s count 0-0.
MERCY RUN RULES IN ALL DIVISIONS:
- 15 runs after 3 complete innings of play.
- 10 runs after 4 complete innings of play.
- 8 runs after 5 complete innings of play.
BAT WEIGHT LIMITATIONS:
- All Wood and/or Non-Wood
Bats stamped with any of the following:
(BBCOR .50), (USSSA 1.15 BPF), (USA Baseball). - 4u-12u: (No weight restrictions)
- 13u-14u: (No bats lighter than -5 max)
- 15u-18u: (No bats lighter than -3 max/BBCOR ONLY)
HOME TEAM:
- Coin Flip in all Pool Play games.
- Single Elimination Bracket Play Games:
- High Seed chooses (Home/Visitor) in all Single Elimination Bracket Play Games INCLUDING the Championship Game.
- Double Elimination Bracket Play Games:
- High Seed chooses (Home/Visitor) in all Double Elimination Bracket Play games EXCEPT the Championship Game.
- The undefeated team chooses (Home/Visitor) in the Championship Game. No "IF" game in Double Elimination Bracket.
