We check to make sure all players are listed on your official online NCS Roster to ensure all players are legal BEFORE the game starts to avoid those issues.
All players participating in the game must be entered on the Official Line-up to be eligible to participate in the game.
All players on Official Line-up must be active online on their NCS Roster to be eligible to play.
Rules:
We play by the rules listed on the PlayNCS.com website.
Saturday 2 Pool Play into Sunday Single Elimination.
Game times 1 hour 30 minutes.
No new inning is started after 1:25. Drop dead at 1:45.

Umpires have official time.
All players must be properly geared. Catcher wearing all protective gear. Pitcher no white sleeves, arm sleeve, jewelry or sweatbands.
We do not allow metal cleats on our Turf Field, Mound or Batting Cages.
All 12U (12U only) Tournaments are Wood Bat only. Bats are to be single construction solid wood. No composite (including handle)
No seeds or shelled nuts or gum are allowed inside Mavs Ballpark. This is a big deal. They clog the drains. If the drains stop up we can't play..
Teams supply their own baseballs.
Cages are available for warm up before games. We have 2 cages. Teams scheduled to play next up games have priority use of the cages. Those 2 teams rotate cages.

We utilize outs instead of innings for pitching totals as per NCS Rules.
Maximum number of outs a player can legally pitch in one (1) day and still pitch the next day is 6 outs (2 innings)
Maximum innings allowed for the 2 day Tournament is 24 outs (8 innings) with no more than 18 outs (6 innings) in one day.

Please submit all schedule requests using the Schedule Request tab on the event menu.
We will take schedule requests until Monday 5:00pm prior to the event.
You can only block out a 4-hour block on Friday or Saturday that you cannot play!
Schedule requests that are more restrictive than a 4-hour "no play" block will be difficult to accommodate but we will do our best!
The schedule request is a request, not a guarantee.
If the Schedule Request tab is not showing on the event menu, that means we have begun scheduling the event already.
When do schedules post?
Typically we post schedules on the Tuesday preceding the tournament weekend. (We do reserve the right to post on Wednesday's during the Fall Tournament Season when "Special Requests" are exceedingly high, and during the Spring Season when waiting on NCS Ranking Updates.)

Sportsmanship:
Each Head Coach is responsible for the sportsmanship of his entire team, both players and parents and also his assistant coaches (and fans). Please always make sure to demonstrate GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP so that these young athletes see a good example presented to them. Please remember, only Head Coaches talk with the umpires regarding questions, etc. (The two Head Coaches and the two Umpires only, no assistant coaches.) Assistant coaches must refrain from this and allow the Head Coach and the Umpire to work through any issues that may arise.
Behavior at Events:
Mavs Ballpark has a Zero Tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Any fan, parent, player or coach will be ejected from the event for adverse behavior towards a tournament official or umpire or another team or within teams.
Anyone ejected must immediately leave the facility.
