🎟 General Admission

• Daily Pass: $15.00 per person
  

• World Series Week Pass: $60.00 per person (Good for the entire event)

• Children Under 10: Free

• Coaches & Players: 3 coaches per team and all uniformed players enter free

• Wristbands: Must be worn at all times. Broken wristbands will not be accepted for re-entry.

Teams will not be allowed to compete until check-in is complete.

Coach Checklist – Complete Before Check-In

• Update your NCS roster to include only players attending

• Print your official NCS roster

• Prepare a team binder with:

  • A copy of each player’s birth certificate

  • Your official printed roster

Team Insurance

• Must be uploaded and verified in your NCS account

• If not verified, a $50 No Insurance Fee is due at check-in

⚾ Skills Competitions

🔁 Infield Around the Horn

• 6 players per team

• 2 timed attempts

• Specific throwing sequence with players stepping on each base

• Timer starts at pitcher’s release, ends when catcher steps on home plate after final throw

🏃‍♂️ Team Base Running Relay

• 4 players per team

• 2 at home, 2 at second base

• Relay-style race around bases

• No leadoffs allowed

• 2 timed attempts

• 5-second penalty for early starts

⚡ Fastest Man

• 2 players per team

• Full lap around the bases

• Timer starts on signal, ends when player crosses home plate

• 1 timed attempt per player

  
  

⚾ Home Run Derby – Event Details & Official Rules

📅 Event Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025
🕕 Start Times & Field Assignments:
• 4u-6u – 7:00 PM on Field #1
• 7u-8u – 7:00 PM on Field #4
• 9u-10u – 7:00 PM on Field #2
• 11u-12u – 7:00 PM on Field #3
• 13u-18u – 7:00 PM on Field #5

👥 Player Selection
Each team may select up to two (3) players to participate in the competition.

⏱ Time Limit & Format
Each player will gets 10 pitches to hit as many home runs as possible.
Each participant is allowed two (2) practice pitches before their round begins.
Only fair balls hit over the outfield fence or designated home run line will be counted as home runs.
Any ball not hit for a home run—including pitches not swung at—will be considered an out.

⛔ Warm-Up Pitch Rule
Once the batter enters the batter’s box, no warm-up pitches are allowed.
All warm-up pitches must be completed before the batter steps into the box.

⚙️ Equipment Requirements
Teams are responsible for providing their own:
• Pitcher
• Baseballs
• Shaggers (ball retrievers)

💸 Divisions & Entry Fees

• Visit the Divisions tab on the event page for entry fees

• Pay through:

  • NCS Website

  • Venmo @ncstournaments
    (Include age division, team name & “South Coast World Series”)

Note: Even if you pay via Venmo, you must still register through the NCS website.

⚾ Baseballs

• Up to 3 new baseballs provided per game

• Once exhausted, teams must supply backup balls

• Lost/unreturned balls will not be replaced

• Travel tip:

  • Fly in the day before Opening Day

  • Fly out the day after Championship Games
