PinkTober Classic

Oct 4-5

COED SPECIFIC RULES (5/5 FORMAT

  • Teams must play at least an equal number of women as men (4M/4W, 5M/5W, 6M/6W, etc.). Teams may always play more women than men, never more men than women.
  • If a team starts with equal men/women and a woman leaves the game (injury, ejection, personal reason), a male player must also be removed to keep the ratio even.
    • At no time may a team have more men than women batting or on defense.
    • If this occurs, the woman’s spot will be an out the next time through, and the man hitting before or after her (team’s choice) must also be removed and take an out his next at-bat only. (Exception: ejections — an out will be taken the entire game.)

  • No Waterfalling Lineups – If hitting more women than men, you may lead off with either gender, but once you run out of men, the remaining women must bat straight through before returning to the top.
    • Example: 5 men / 7 women, leading off with a man → lineup: M, W, M, W, M, W, M, W, M, W, W, W.

  • Women will hit the small ball.
