Men’s D & E will be combined for pool play.

• 3 Pool Play Games EACH
• D teams will spot E teams 5 runs
• After pool play, divisions will separate
• E will have its own Single-Elimination Bracket
• D will have its own Single-Elimination CHAMPIONSHIP

• Every Rec team will play each other in pool play

🏆 NCS WORLDS PAID BID

With 10 teams, the tournament champion will receive a PAID BID to NCS Worlds!

⚠️ The paid bid belongs to the winning team under the team name they played under. It is NOT transferable to another team or team name.

If the division has fewer than 10 teams, the paid bid amount will be reduced by $62.50 for each team under 10.

We will be scheduling Wednesday, August 26. 

🚨 IMPORTANT — SCHEDULE RELEASE POLICY 🚨

Once schedules are released, your team is responsible for the FULL ENTRY FEE.

We want to protect the teams that show up ready to compete from having to take forfeits because another team no-shows.

🥎 COED FORMAT — 5/5 OR 6/6

If you hit 5 men, you must hit 5 women.
If you hit 6 men, you must hit 6 women.

You may have more women in the lineup — just not more men.

🔀 DIVISIONS / RUN SPOTS

NCS may run spot or combine divisions at State, Regional, National, and World events.

Run spotting is mandatory when assigned. Coaches may not decline the runs.

When a lower-level team plays a higher-ranked team, the home run rule will be leveled 

The full run spot is awarded at the start of the game rather than by inning.

The typical spot is 5–7 runs per division, but the Tournament Director may adjust the amount.

Teams two or more divisions higher will not be matched against E or Rec teams.

NCS generally attempts to avoid combining divisions. When divisions are combined, separate championships may be played when time and team counts permit. In some cases, divisions may play through using run spotting.

If only one team remains in a particular division, that team may be limited to pool play and may not be eligible for championship awards.

Tournament Directors reserve the right to combine, split, or adjust divisions based on registration.

If divisions need to be combined, the NCS run-spot system will be used.

Example: If Coed Rec has to play in Coed E, the Rec team will receive a 5-run spot.
