Roster Help:

Complete Online Roster

All NCS teams are required to have their roster on-line in the www.playNCS.com web site system before they play.  It’s a quick and simple process.

To begin entering your roster data, log in to your team manager, click "PROFILE".  Enter your Login ID and Password and click the SUBMIT button.

You are now at the Team Manager Menu.  Make sure your current year team is highlighted and click on the EDIT ROSTER.

Follow the directions at the top of the page to enter each player's personal data.

Only enter each player's LEGAL FIRST & LAST NAMES as they appear on Drivers license.

DO NOT include middle names, nick names, shortened names, slang names, initials, prefixes or suffixes (i.e.; Jr., II, III, etc.)...ONLY the LEGAL first and last names and a valid player email address.

All players on roster must check their email and accept the NCS invitation to be on the team. (They don’t have to wait to get it as an email. They can claim it in their profile)

If the email is blocked by firewalls or other security settings players can go to www.playNCS.com and create a profile.

The invite will be in their profile as long as they use the same email you used to send it to them.

Game Lengths and Times

Adult E, D, and Protectors divisions will be 60 minutes and the Championship games will be 70 minutes

Upper/Open and C divisions will be 65 minutes and the Championship games will be 75 minutes

Seniors divisions will 60 minutes plus the open inning and the Championship games will be 70 minutes plus the open inning

("IF" games will all be the standard length of 60, 65 or 70 min depending on the division)

(Standard Games may be cut to down by 5 minutes (or whatever is needed) due to any unforeseen time constraints)

If in a time crunch for any unforeseen reason, we may have to bypass the "if" games and will have to make the Championship game a winner-take-all game.

All listed game times are approximate start times – be prepared to start up to 15 minutes early. If other team and umpires are ready, there could be a loss of game if your team isn’t ready to go. (Game times can change due to unforeseen circumstances so always check master brackets on-line)

No... Enjoy Vegas and read all rules, rankings information, and EVENT INFO pages on our website.

If time and field space allows- Stay tuned here for details as we get closer

Are Team Uniforms mandatory?

Yes

Are there roster checks?

Yes

All players must have legal photo ID/Drivers License on them at all times that match names and DOB on roster.

What Kind of balls are allowed? - If not a Dudley Ball, Don't Bring it!

  • DUDLEY is our official ball of choice. The optic yellow ball…. 12-inch balls for the MEN and an 11-inch for the WOMEN.
    • All Game Balls must be DUDLEY and must be OPTIC YELLOW in color. All Dudley balls are allowed for Seniors and Men’s play except Stadium Balls and any 47 or 50-core ball.
    • COED no 44/525’s, 47 or 50 core balls allowed!  44/375 is the standard

Can I play on more than one team in the tournament?

Most Divisions will conflict. Divisions will also be at different parks throughout the Vegas area so it will be extremely difficult to play on two separate teams. Also, you can only play on one team of the same gender. For example... if playing Men’s D you can’t play Men’s E.

Anyone playing in the Open division can't play on an "E" team unless you are rated as a D player or below.

What happens if a team no-shows?

If a team NO SHOWS and you receive a forfeit victory, this does give your team a win and counts toward your 3GG.

How do we get balls if we can't find them locally?

We will give you a couple and have plenty for sale at each complex

What Kind of Bats can we use?

Bats must have new or older USSSA, ASA-USA or NSA stamp / No fastpitch, baseball bats, cheater bats etc. - We don't have a bat ban list like other association

Senior Bats can only be used in the Senior Division

Field Preps:

Usually we do initial full preps each day and then just quick preps/water when we can and if we can / have time

Rosters:

Your on-line roster may show approved but all this means is that you have at least 10 people added. This Does Not Mean Your Team Is Legal! You still have to follow our rankings system!

Military, Black American, Native American and Senior rosters do not count against you in standard E,D Women’s, COED and Men’s Divisions

*Drivers License is what we go by for Men’s or Women’s eligibility – If DL states male or non bianary, player is only allowed to play as a man for our events, If DL states female, player is only allowed to play as a woman for our events.

2024 rosters must all be approved by NCS - We are no longer leaving it to the managers to follow our policy.
