2025 Rec World Series Details

ITINERARY:

Friday 5pm-9pm No Gate Fee Friday Night

Skills Contest/Pin Trading

Team Fastest Player:

(4) players per team will be allowed to participate each player will compete on a team basis.

Each contestant will start at home plate with their lead foot on the plate. Time will start on the official’s mark.

The contestant will run the bases with time stopping when the contestant crosses the plate. Each team will get 1 attempt.

Team Home Run Derby:

Each team will be comprised of 3 players.

Each player gets (6) outs.

Team provides pitcher and balls.

Anything not hit over the fence/home run line in fair territory is an out.

Once the batter is in the batter's box, the pitcher cannot take warm up pitches.
All warm up pitches must be before the batter gets in the box.

Team Around the Horn:

Six (6) players per team will be allowed to participate.

Pitcher will start from the pitching position.

Clock will start when she releases the ball.

The Pitcher will throw to the catcher.

The Catcher must step on Home Plate and then throw to 2nd Baseman

The 2nd Baseman must step on 2nd Base and then throw to the 1st Baseman.

The 1st Baseman must step on 1st Base and then throw to the 3rd Baseman.

The 3rd Baseman must step on 3rd Base and then throw to the Shortstop.

The Shortstop must step on 2nd Base and then throw to the Catcher.

Once the Catcher receives the ball and steps on Home Plate the clock will stop.

Each team gets two (2) attempts.

All players must be on your roster (paper). Keep this roster with you during the skills contests.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY:

All players must be on your roster (paper) that is to be turned in before the team's 1st game.

Each team will play 2 pool play games then enter a Double Elimination Bracket based on pool play seeding.

TBALL WILL BE MODIFIED!!

3 PITCHES FROM THE COACH. PLAYER CAN NOT STRIKE OUT

ON 3rd PITCH YOU CONTINUE IF A FOUL BALL. IF MISSED, PLAYER THEN GETS 1 SWING OFF THE TEE

IF A PLAYER HITS OFF THE TEE SHE IS ONLY ALLOWED 1ST BASE

BALL MUST GO PAST THE ARC OR THE PLAYER IS OUT

5 RUNS PER HALF INNING

6u/8u = 60 min pool (finish the batter) and bracket games (must have a winner) 5 runs per half inning. (No run limit in ITB)

10u-18u = 60 min pool (finish the batter) and 75 min bracket games (must have a winner) 5 runs per half inning. (No run limit in ITB)

GAME BALLS:

Each team must provide 2 game balls per game. Additional game balls will be available for sale at the event.

LOCATION:

REC World Series will be played in and around the City of Forney, Texas.

ALL REC WORLD SERIES REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE ENTRY FEE HAS BEEN PAID.

FEES:

6u-18u = $150 Registration

6u-8u $40 PAP

10u-18u $50 PAP

PAP IS PER TEAM PER GAME TO UMPS

GATE FEE:

Daily Gate Fees

Adults Ages $10

Students Ages 10 and up $5

ROSTERS:

ONLY NCS C-REC REGISTERED TEAMS.

WE WILL NOT GO BY ONLINE ROSTERS. INSTEAD, THE PAPER ROSTERS TURNED IN BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT WILL BE THE TEAM'S OFFICIAL ROSTERS.

Do I need team insurance?

Yes, if you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured. You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. We must receive your insurance by the Friday prior to the event
