You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. All insurance needs to be uploaded online. We are NOT accepting insurance at the event.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 4 Game Guarantee 


3 pool games into single elimination
Saturday: Pool Games 1hr20min Drop Dead (Open substitution, bat the line up or keep the integrity of the line up) Sunday:  


Sunday: Bracket Games (DP and Flex and EP, extra player may be used)


Gold & Silver Brackets(Rings to 1st & 2 Place Finishers) & MVP Awards given on Sunday (winner/loser)


Game times: 80 minutes / No new inning 


NCS FASTPITCH PLAYING RULES:


NFHS rules will be followed with the following modifications


ASA rules are in effect for game play.  Modifications and rule highlights for this tournament are listed below:


1.  TIME LIMIT Pool Play: 1 hour 20 min. drop dead; Elimination games: No new inning after 1 hour and 20 min. NO TIME LIMIT FOR CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. Home plate umpire will keep official game time.  Game time starts after pre-game meeting at the plate.


2.  RUN RULE 10 runs after 4 innings; 8 runs after 5 innings.


3.  TIE SCORES Pool games may end in a tie. NOTE: If the visiting team takes a lead and the home team does not finish their last inning the score will revert to the last completed inning.  Elimination games will begin international tie breaker at the expiration of time or after 7 innings, whichever occurs first. All Elimination games MUST be played to a conclusion.


4.  METHOD FOR SEEDING INTO BRACKET PLAY Record, Ties will be broken using the following order of criteria: A. Head to Head B. Runs Allowed C. Runs Scored. Coin Toss in the event of (D), the tournament director(s) will conduct the coin toss if teams are not available.


5. SEEDINGS It will be YOUR responsibility to check on your FIRST elimination game time. A COMPLETED BRACKET WILL BE POSTED ON TOURNEY MACHINE   AT THE CONCLUSION OF GAMES ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND/OR AT EACH VENUE DURING THE TOURNAMENT.


6. SUBSTITUTIONs- Friendly substitution in pool games.  ASA substitution rules apply in elimination play.


7. DP and Flex and EP, extra player may be used. Example: The DP hits for the flex player anywhere in the batting order. The Flex may play any defensive position, and may enter the game offensively only in the DP position. For pool play you can bat the roster. See ASA rule book for detailed description.8. DUGOUT DESIGNATIONTeam listed first (pool play) or on top of bracket (elimination play) will occupy first base dugout. IF A TEAM IS ALREADY OCCUPYING DUGOUT FROM PREVIOUS GAME THEY will REMAIN. Home team determined by coin toss in pool play. Elimination games will allow the higher seed to be home team. If the two teams have the same seeding a coin flip will be used. Home team will supply official score keeper. As a courtesy to all players and coaches, please CLEAN UP DUGOUT AFTER EACH GAME.


8. PROTESTS: There are no protests. All calls made by umpires are final.


9.  ROSTER: Rosters must be submitted on the NCS registration and if incomplete may be subject to forfeit if player is unverified.
10.  SCORECARDS will be given to umpires. Scorekeeper from each team must verify score and initial scorecard at the conclusion of each game. Home team furnishes scorecard in pool play and elimination play. Extra scorecards available at each venue.


11.  SOFTBALLS: Will be provided by NCS
12.   START TIME:  FORFEIT - Game time is forfeit time unless the delay is created by tournament host.


13.  FINAL DECISIONS: The Tournament Director(s) shall have final decision on all standard tournament issues.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY, RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT


For and in consideration of PARTICIPANT's registration into this tournament  hosted by the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SPORTS,  its affiliates, sponsored teams, and any local sponsoring  associations and member teams and any and all officers, directors, agents, employees and representatives, (hereafter, collectively referred to as "NCS') and PARTICIPANT's being allowed to participate  in NCS girls' softball tournament  or other team activities, PARTICIPANT or PARTICIPANT's parent(s) or legal guardian(s) on behalf of PARTICIPANT (if PARTICIPANT is a minor or has a legal guardian) relinquishes  and waives any and all claims and causes of action or personal injury, property damage or wrongful death in connection with, relating to or arising from any and all NCS events and activities, wherever and however such personal injuries, property damage, or wrongful death occur. In the language which follows, any reference to a 'PARTICIPANT" includes the PARTICIPANT and any and all of the PARTICIPANT's parent(s) or guardian(s) signing on behalf of such PARTICIPANT, and "NCS Activities' means any NCS events and team activities.


To the best of his or her knowledge, PARTICIPANT acknowledges, understands, has lull knowledge of, and assumes all risks inherent in each softball activity and understands that such sports and activities involve risks to PARTICIPANT, including possible bodily injury, partial or total disability, paralysis, death and other injuries and damages which may arise therefrom. PARTICIPANT further acknowledges and understands: (a) that such risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of PARTICIPANT or negligence of others, including the "RELEASEES," identified below; and (b) that there may be risks and dangers in connection with or relating to CFTC Activities not known or reasonably foreseeable at the present time. PARTICIPANT acknowledges, understands and assumes the risks arising from use of or presence in or at facilities or premises in or at which NCS activities take place. PARTICIPANT further acknowledges, understands and agrees that included within scope  of this Agreement are any claims or causes of action (a) arising from the performance or failure to perform  maintenance or inspection or to supervise or control such facilities or premises; (b) relating to failure to warn of dangerous conditions existing in or at such facilities or premises; (c) arising from negligent  selection, appointment  or retention of any RELEASEES; and (d) arising from negligent supervision  or instruction of or by any RELEASEES.

NCS has a zero tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Any fan, parent, player or coach will be ejected from the event for adverse behavior towards a tournament official or umpire.  


Covid 19 best practices

No matter if you agree or disagree with the seriousness of the virus or what your political affiliation is, we believe there is a way to get back to playing baseball and softball safely. We are not trying to debate these precautionary measures, we are simply trying to get back on the field safely under the parameters and guidelines set forth by the state, city and CDC.

In the event of rain/weather or any act of God canceling the entire tournament, teams will be issued a credit towards a future NCS Southwest tournament.

In the event of paid team canceling prior to tournament, team will receive credit towards future

NCS Southwest tournament. All payments are final   

In the event of rain canceling a tournament already in progress, a team may receive partial credit based on the amount games played

In the event of paid team canceling due to COVID-19 prior to tournament, team will receive credit towards future NCS Southwest tournament.
