This is an MVP Event a player from each team will receive an MVP Medal in each Pool game!

Make sure you get an MVP card at each pool plate meeting from the umpire. Pick a MVP from the opposing team, write her number on the card and give it to her coach. The player will take the card to the onsite TD to receive her MVP Metal.

2 SEEDED POOL TO DOUBLE ELIMINATION

TRIPLE DOWN BRACKET!!!

If we have enough teams, we will play the 3 Pool games and divide the bracket into DIAMOND, GOLD, AND SILVER brackets based off pool seeding. 12 TEAM MIN TO SPLIT BRACKETS into a Diamond or Gold Bracket. With 24 teams we will add a SILVER bracket.

Pool play must flip at home plate to determine home and visitor.

FINAL AWARDS

*Championship game team in the winner bracket will have their choice of home or away. 

*Also if the tournament can’t keep going due to weather. The 2 highest seeded teams in the winners bracket will be awarded 1st and 2nd place awards. 

8U ONLY Rules:

- 5 pitches or 3 strikes

- 5 runs per half inning in Pool/Bracket

- Coach Pitcher must have one foot on the pitching rubber

- Runners can leave the base at the release of the pitch

- No infield fly rule

- No look back rule

- No dropped 3rd strike

- Play is stopped when the lead runner is stopped

- Can have a max of 10 defensive players (4 in the outfield)

PROTESTS ARE $100, WIN YOUR PROTEST, GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND WINS THE GAME. The team will take a 7-0 Forfeit and the player will be removed from the Tournament. The Head Coach will be gone for the next game. Protest must be made before the Game is over. Coaches it is your responsibility to have your birth certificates handy in case your player gets protested. 

ZERO TOLERANCE BEHAVIOR POLICY

No Alcohol/No Pets

Refunds/Rain out policy.

*NO REFUNDS AFTER THE SCHEDULE IS OUT*

No games played 100% refund.

1 game played 50% refund.

2 GAMES PLAYED NO REFUND

*If 2nd game has started and gets canceled due to rain, no refund. 

*Gate  Fee is non-refundable.

Weather delays can occur for lightning/severe weather.  TD reserves the right to alter format with time and a 1 Day Single Elimination Tournament to stay on schedule in the event of severe weather or to change park locations 

Team insurance MUST be uploaded by payment deadline & NCS MUST be named as additional insured.

***Insurance is also available for purchase through NCS if needed***

If your insurance is not approved their will be a $30 charge to buy a policy for the event, to be paid before your first game. 9 times out of 10 the issue is NCS isn't named as an additional insured on your policy. Call your insurance provider and ask them to have NCS added as an additional insured, then upload to your team page.

Team MUST have a minimum of 8 players on Roster- NO EXCEPTIONS

All rosters are locked on the Friday evening prior to the event at 11:59 pm.
